Should I seek an earlier appointment for my son's painful neck tic?

My son is 6. The last week he's developed a neck tic. He rubs his neck by rolling his head backwards. However he's saying it actually hurts which is why he's rubbing it. Today it's to the point he's rubbing it on the sofa. He has an appointment Friday but I'm not sure whether to push for one today? He's extremely irritable, emotional.

He's also under ENT for sleep apnea so not sure if it's related or separate.

Anyone have a similar experience?

You'd be better seeing a very good, evidence based osteopath
