Husband urinating in sleep

This has happened 3 times now this year, he’s incredibly embarrassed by it.
He hasn’t been drinking alcohol but has had high caffeine drinks quite late at night. He’s on medication for high blood pressure and has been for 10 years (he’s 51)
Ive told him he needs to get to the doctors which he will do as he doesn’t have a problem going like some men.
im so worried about what this could be.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Diabetes and prostrate issues to start. Sleep apnea and constipation also.

When you say he will go to the doctor unlike some men? What is it waiting for? #4?

Go tomorrow. Otherwise he is indeed the rest!

Prostate problems or potentially diabetes, but he’d likely have other symptoms of the latter and peeing a lot during the day as well. He needs to see a doctor ASAP for bloods and to give a urine sample.

I think the first two times he could just pass it off as random, they were a few months apart so didn’t seem too bad iyswim. I think the third time has really shaken him even though it’s been about three months since the last time. He’s asked for an appointment and is waiting to hear back from the doctors

A 50 year old man urinating in his sleep is a huge red flag - hopefully he’s seen soon and he hasn’t caused too much damage by delaying for as long as he has.

id be concerned he was having nighttime seizures so he should def go to GP.

Mine has done this, he is on meds for high BP, but it is well controlled. Also new to pre diabetes and the two times he has done it he has had a mega large amount of carbs and too much alcohol to drink. Since we stopped him having too many carbs and too much to drink it hasn’t happened.
Sounds like yours needs some tests on his blood sugars and his BP checking at the Drs, so get an appt made for Monday.
