Allergic rash - Ibuprofen?

Does anyone know if you can develop an allergic rash to Ibuprofen even tho you have taken it previously? DH has come out in a horrible rash and doctor thinks its an allergic one, he's taken ibuprofen the past few days as he's had a virus.

Yes you can, my dd gets this. Very annoying as she has chronic pain and it means a lot of painkillers can't be used.
