This virus is doing my head in

WTF is this virus? I’m on day 10. Started as hot and feverish, then sneezing sore throat, blocked ears. Then felt a bit better, then worse. Then better. After a week I really felt a lot better, managed usual activities and even a short walk/jog. Next day felt worse than ever. Miraculously got a doc appointment, nothing bacterial but got an inhaler to help loosen the tightness in my chest. It’s the blocked ears and headache that are the worst. I feel so woozy and lethargic. It’s so not like me

Probably covid.
Hope you feel better soon. Stay in and rest until you feel better to avoid spreading it, immune compromised people like me are still vulnerable to it.

I've had a virus for a week. Head and ears so stuffy. Ectopic heartbeat which is worrying. Neck sore.

Yep I’ve got the same thing at the moment, struggling to sleep with it, the sore throat was the worst one I’ve ever had and I can’t hear out of left ear

It’s weird but I haven’t had a cold or anything since my two covid jabs…

Are any of you feeling or having to be sick?

@Panda8383 feel nauseous sometimes but not actually been sick yet.

It’s just so horrible, I started off with sore throat and ears, just achey all over and yesterday was just feeling sick all day

I’ve got covid. Thought it had gone but I’m drenched in sweat and got the dentist tomorrow.

I’ve had this. Presume it was Covid, again! Took a good week to feel better.

Had this on and off since 16th August. Test negative for COVID twice. You'd expect a virus to burn out in ten days or so? But there's post virus fatigue I suppose?

Day 12 and still half deaf with tinnitus that sounds like a fire alarm in my head.

Oh Christ. I’ve got this. I was hoping it would be a short lived thing. I had a slightly drippy nose yesterday which I assumed was hay fever. Started to develop sneezing, coughing and sore throat throughout the day. By last night I felt absolutely awful-such a sore throat, head ache, chills, and the worst aching bones in Arms and legs and absolutely knackered. Been in bed all day today. I HAVE to go to work tomorrow and Friday. I get every bloody bug going since I had Covid the first time in 2020, and I can’t have any more time off sick.

My son tells me he knows lots of folk with it.
