Feeling miserable with reactive hypoglycemia

I was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia and some insulin resistance via a mixed meal test sometime ago after experiencing constant hunger, anxiety, palpitations and brain fog shortly after eating.
The endocrinologist advised me to eat more protein and healthy fats which seemed to calm symptoms down for a short while and I felt really well again till now.
For some reason, despite following the same diet, symptoms are back with a vengeance and I'm struggling at work as a result. I feel disorientated, hungry, anxious and almost drunk daily.
Has anyone else been offered medication for this condition?
I'm just craving sugar constantly and have bouts of shovelling what I can in.

What happens if you don't eat any sugar or sweetened products?

What do you eat? It looks like your diet needs adjusting.

I never had a diagnosis but those symptoms in 3 family members went away with supplementing B1 and biotin alongside magnesium and a B complex. B1 is really important for blood sugar regulation and some people need to supplement biotin to get full B1 functionality as they work together.

I'd look up EO Nutrition on YouTube for more about how to supplement B1 - he's a nutritionist who uses it extensively in his practice.

Also glutamine and glycine supplements in a 2:1 ratio really helped one family member and stopped the sugar cravings. They help with insulin regulation.

Many individuals are prescribed medicine for this and cravings do occur. You can get this checked once and if required the doctor might change you medications.

Following with interest if you don't mind OP as the palpitations I get post-meal are unbearable. I'm also absolutely exhausted for an hour or two. Hope you find an answer.
