Anyone on here with bullous pemphigoid ?

Hi everyone. 54 yo bloke here. I developed bulbous pemphigoid during covid (post covid, pre vaccine). It's flared up a lot since then - terrible huge blisters and awful itching.

After a 3 year wait got a term review and was put on steroids and am just tapering onto doxycycline and off the steroids art the mo.

Is a bit depressing and feels like I'm making too much of it at the same time.

Anyone else have any experience of this ?

Not me, but my dad suffered from that. You have my every sympathy! I know he was given steroids, and that his main issue was the itching and blisters.

Unfortunately I don't know how it played out with him, but the steroids really upset his diabetes, which led to a whole load of other complications.
