What is this mark on my breast

Small bruise like mark under one breast. Not on the underwire, but may still be irritation as my underwear doesn't fit well after weight gain. I originally saw it about two months ago but had fallen over so had a load of random bruises. Just spotted it again.

Peri so have a few weird cysts that come and go. This isn't with a lump or painful. I think it changes size and it sometimes smaller and less inflamed (not hot or infected, just a bit puffy). Under a cm. Pictures attached.

Will book a check-up but difficult to get an appointment.

I think any change to your breasts should get checked. It could be absolutely nothing but better to get it checked.

I agree and will. Just getting an appointment is difficult.

How difficult? With my GP, if you mention breast issues you get an urgent appointment.

Unfortunately not mine. I guess I will have to wait for a referral.

Has anyone seen something like this before? What was it?

I asked Chat GPT and the response was likely vascular. I will still ask a real GP when I can.

You should be able to get an urgent appointment. Stress that it is a red and painful change in the breast and you need next day. Then the referral should be under the 2 week wait.

It isn't painful, no sign of infection. Best case is I have something that rubs it and haven't realised. Not in the UK, somewhere where a referral is easier. Would rather do that than wait for the GP to tell me no infection.

Thanks. Please can I ask how long it lasted? I thought this was a bruise a few months ago as I bruised my ribs.

I can’t remember how long but a while and once it went down it left a mark. But if you’re worried, I would have it seen to even if for peace of mind x

Thanks. I will. Will try a plaster with Sudocrem for a few days in case something is rubbing.
