I rarely get chest infections but I am dealing with my second one in a month, and I am just not sure when /whether I need to go back to GP

How long would you expect to antibiotics to take to make you start feeling better?

what are the warning signs I need to go back to GP?

My chest just feels quite burny almost. The cough is maybe a bit better though.

I don't want to go back to GP if don't need to but I also don't want to ignore for too long and get worse!
(Especially as I have Myasthenia)

I have bronchiectasis so chest infections tend to take some shaking off. I'd say if you've had AB and don't feel better then go back to GP. You might need a course of steroids.

I just checked and I got the new lot of antibiotics on Monday (co amoxiclav) so I guess it would be reasonable to ask to see Dr tomorrow?

When I have had a chest infection, I have started feeling noticeably better within 24 hours of starting the antibiotics. I would definitely contact the GP tomorrow if you are no better by now.

Thanks @dizzydizzydizzy I do appreciate your advice, that's what I started to think that surely I should feel better by now
