For the last few weeks my feet (mostly one) has been swelling up. It happens if I sit for more than an hour and a half or so. Difficult to track with office work, a short lunch break etc.
I went for lymphatic drainage massage which helped. This week it is not as bad, maybe as its cooler weather. I went to GP and they have referred me for bloods and an ECG. I have had an ECG a few years ago which was normal so expecting will be okay. I do have a condition that has lymphatic involvement so GP was saying maybe its that. I am also 2 stone overweight and not terribly active.
The front of my foot is like memory foam. When I press it, the skin compresses like a cushion and slowly bounces back. Its like my foot is full of something. Is this a sign of something serious?
It also hurts a bit. I have been wearing ballet flats a lot for work, then it reached a point where the swelling made it hard to put any other shoes on. Why might it hurt?
I am convinced it will clear up with more regular exercise and weight loss - but am I mistaken?
Anyone had this and it went away?
I think I will prioritise getting my bloods done.
