my DS1 is 13 months and has just had two HUGE mouth ulcers on the outside of his lips, they looked like cold sores but the GP said they were ulcers, probably caused by constant finger chewing because he is teething. They are healing now, but looked really sore and I would hate him to have them again, we just put some bonjela on, is there anything else we could have done - could do in the future? is there anything else that could have caused them? The GP mentionned the possibility of anaemia if it happened again?
