DD (23mths) released from hosp after 2 days with this. had 3 feb convulsions (v prone anyhow to these). Any tips for handling this now parent to parent.

Is it tummy pain?

Have you tried Calpol etc?

If it is really bad I would phone NHS Direct - there maybe something else going on.

It was tummy pain. Poops have stopped but she was v distressed. Had calpol and seems to be sleeping peacefully now-fingers crossed.

I hope your DD is feeling better this morning.

IME, upset tummies tend to drag on for at least a week in toddlers. Just when you think they are never going to get better and you are going to spend your whole life indoors, changing nappies, they start to improve. It's very hard watching them in pain though.
