Back to back illnesses

All summers I have been ill. Viral cold type illnesses with little respite in between. Started in June - sneezing and a load of snot. In July I ended up with sinus infection and antibiotics and was just recovering when last week I once again became ill with sore throat then sneezing, snot and cough again.

how can I build up my immune system to start fighting these things off? It’s very unlike me to be unwell at all never mind 3 bad colds in as many months.

Do you have hayfever?

spritzwiththat · 18/08/2026 13:29

I do mildly usually but the hayfever tablets haven’t touched this so I’ve decided it isn’t hayfever. Sore throat trigger each time. Also it was bad on holiday too. I’m taking 4 fexofenadine a day and beconase

Have you been to the GP for a blood test?
not normal to be as ill as this especially in summer with those types of illness.

I haven’t been to the GP alert from with the sinus infection and was in and out with the antibiotics in 2 mins. What would blood tests inform?
