How long did colonoscopy prep take to work for you?

I've got my colonoscopy at 1:30 tomorrow or rather today. I had my prep at 8 pm but still haven't been toilet. My stomach is bloated and gurgling so I'm hoping things will change. How long did it take with you? I'm worried it won't work. I have to take second dose at 8 am.

I found that just when you think...nope this is DEFINITELY not working what am I going to do ? ...is when it hits and definitely DOES work. Hope everything goes ok.

That’s strange when I had the prep within 20 mins I as on the toilet & was all night after that

Took a few hours for the first dose to work for me. Second worked much quicker though.

First dose didn't really do anything. Second dose was 20 mins!

It's working now. I'm also now on my second dose

All done and ok. Apparently my colon is unusually long and twisted which accounts for my constipation. No cancer or anything sinister

Pleased it's all good.
