Scam drugs

People should know about this . Animal dewormer and a drug to treat scabies sre being sold on the internet to treat cancer. BBC article:

Yes, I saw that earlier. Horrifying. There was a story the other day about a mis-sold fitness supplement which had steroids mixed in, and caused a man to suffer from psychosis.

Oh I heard on the news tonight that some people have died horribly because they believed the social media shite promoting these.

We should never believe drug information on social media, because very often there is an attempt to cash in (on pure bollocks) behind the hype.

Drugs need to be approved by MHRA (the medicines and health care products regulatory agency): They are the government regulator who checks safety, quality, and effectiveness before granting a marketing authorisation licence. NICE separately decides drug and device cost effectiveness (across England and Wales).
