Jelly-like sack in corner of eye with dry eyes?

I’ve just finished putting my make up on and felt like I had a sleep or an eyelash in the corner of my eye, had a look and it’s like a jelly filled sleep sack which is attached and I can’t scrape it off? Just wondering if anyone’s had it before. I do suffer with dry eyes so wondering if me rubbing them (as I normally do in the corner of my eye) has caused this. Anyone had anything similar? Planning to go to the opticians if it hasn’t gone in the next few days.

Hi OP I have dry eyes and get exactly this from time to time, usually in the summer. What works for my is Optrex allergy 2% drops in the morning and Hycosan purple drops as and when needed. I was fully checked out though, assured there was no infection and confirmed it was safe to wear contacts if I needed to. My eye shape is the same almond shape as yours, apparently we are more prone to this - solidarity! Do get checked over though OP, to be on the safe side.
