Breast tenderness and underarm soreness in early pregnancy, is this normal? Worried of BC any advice?

sore boobs during pregnancy. i can’t help but dive into a rabbit hole of thinking i have BC?
my boobs have been tender from very early stages of pregnancy i am 9 weeks pregnant now. I have laid down done a breast exam and could not feel any lumps or anything alarming apart from my breast fall under my arm pits and that area feels fuller and sore.. like the gland area? even if i catch it or touch it it makes me want to cry it hurts! (both sides)
i did a breast exam stood up and could not find any lumps, my nipples are veiny and look translucent because of how heavy my boobs are.
Iv always had dense lumpy boobs since being a teenager and i know whats normal and what isn’t but i did not expect my boobs to hurt like this?
not every day i have soreness/pain in them but i think iv just been prodding and rubbing so much it’s made them worse.
im now deep diving into google and worried something could be wrong😩
im 27yrs old, only history of bc in my family is my great grandma (my cousin thrown a orange at her boob which caused bc it was dormant in her and her nipple sunken in she lived with it for years💔) but 2 girls who i went to school with BOTH died of bc at 25yrs old?!! like wtf

i have booked in the doctors friday for another issue but i am getting them to look at my breast. i’m scared 💔

It’s normal. Your boobs will also be getting bigger so you may need bigger bras.

i have to wear a bra at night because if i leave them flopping about it kills, i wake up in pain💔

sometimes even when i move my arms or place them down by sides near the side boob it stings ffs😩

You will get all sorts of sensations/ ailments etc, in pregnancy. You have a long way to go so it may be worth telling your midwife/GP, about your anxiety, for support.

Could not agree more with @KeepTheFaith100this is one of the more minor pregnancy symptoms you will have to deal with so I would brace yourself for things to get much much much more intense and if you’re struggling with health anxiety so much at this stage please speak to your GP.

Congratulations on your pregnancy ❤️ I was diagnosed with stage 2B BC when my daughter was 16 weeks old. I had no symptoms at all, the lump I’d felt and gone to get checked out was a blocked milk duct and when they drained it they found the cancer behind it. My mum also had BC at 37, again no pain or anything just a lump that was unusual for her. Talking to the ladies I had chemo with, none of them had pain either - they either noticed nipple changes, felt a lump, or it was picked up on a routine mammogram. I was very anxious in pregnancy and under the perinatal health team because of it, so obviously this didn’t help my overall anxious nature 🤦🏼‍♀️ and I have been back being scanned a few times since, because of pain/weird sensations/pulling in my armpit (I had lymph nodes removed) and all sorts. It is never anything, and they quite often say to me that pain/tenderness etc is more indicative of hormonal changes than anything more sinister. My DD is 4 now.

I would recommend sharing how you feel, not because I think you might have cancer, but because I know how it feels to be plagued with anxiety throughout pregnancy and my MH midwife was a godsend. I had no idea I’d need her after birth as well but I thank my lucky stars I did have her! All the best ❤️
