Colonoscopy

I'm having a colonoscopy on Thursday. I've had to start a low residue diet already. Does anyone know if I could have alcohol tonight? I haven't had a drink in ages and quite fancy a vodka and lemonade.

I just had a colonoscopy and had a beer or two before the actual day of the prep and it was fine. You can't have a drink on the evening of the day that you have it, so you might as well!

I had one last year and had a drink on the saturday night before the colonoscopy on the Monday. No probs! Enjoy your voddy!

Vodka and lemonade will be ok, just stay off the snake bite or rum and black.
