Need some direction here.

I have been getting sharp electric shock like sensations in my thigh.

GP have ruled out sciatica and DVT (I’m on HRT but they won’t send me for a doplar scan to be 100% sure or refer me for physio).

she has told me to go home and do stretches or to find a private physiotherapist.

Is this the correct route? Will a physiotherapist be able to help of shall I just look up video chat does online?

thank you

It may be a trapped nerve, and stretches would really help for that. There are lots of good videos on YouTube that show you the correct form to use - give it a go a couple of times a day for a week or two and see how things are going.

I've had many trapped nerves over the years and it's all about figuring out the right position to let everything relax again.
