Toddler Skin bump

Sorry if TMI. Here’s a pic of my toddler’s skin lesion. She had it for 2 months now and our GP just keeps insisting it’s benign and that we need to keep applying fucidin. I’ve asked to refer us to dermatology but they keep saying no need. Has anyone had an experience of similar?
it’s not itchy and only hurts ever so slightly when pressed. I really want to help her but I’m not sure what else we can do 😢

Insist on a referral to a dermatologist who is an expert in this area rather than a GP who’s just assuming. After 2 months you’d expect there to be some improvement. It more than likely is ok but it’s better to get that confirmed by a skin specialist.
