I have just had a camera into my uterus to investigate very heavy periods and abnormal bleeding. On inserting the camrera the doc said in a very surprised voice 'Oh your uterus is a very large cavatiy, but its nothing to worry about'. I am not worried about it as I am sure doc would of not of said that if it was something to worry about. But he sounded so surprised. Does anyone heard of this before and shed any light. I suppose I should of asked docotor at the time but didnt think

Some women just do - its more common if you've had several children, but some women who've had none still have a larger than average uterus.
