Gynecology problem or appendix?

I went to the GP yesterday as I've been in pain in my lower tummy and back ever since having sex 4 days ago. I've felt a bit sick.too. she felt my tummy and I jumped where my appendix is. She did an internal exam to check for pelvic infection but said that she doesn't think it's that. Swabs taken for infection just in case. She said if the lower right pain gets worse go straight to a@e.

Today I'm really sore again in lower tummy and back . Probably due to being examined. But it's not specific to my appendix area.

Has anyone had similar? She's referred for a scan but she said that could be in a few weeks so to watch carefully.

My gp suggested I had appendicitis but failed to send me for a scan. He was wrong, I had an ovarian dermoid which twisted and landed me in emergency surgery, but that was after 6 months of me pleading with him to help me.

Your gp has referred you for a scan immediately which is the correct course of action.

It might be nothing more than a fluid cyst that will resolve itself. Wait for the scan. Try not to worry.

Annoyingly the pain has settled into my right side by my belly button so I might have to call someone.

Well the doctor at the hospital is still unsure. Bloods came back normal but she's concerned how tender I am . She's getting my scan fast tracked as it's currently for the end of August.

Today I've had awful discharge. Maybe it's related if I have a cyst? Either way hopefully I'll get the bottom of it soon
