I'm 55, and work full time from home. I've had arthritis for the last... probably ten years.
I have tried everything. More exercise, less exercise, steroid injection, physio - anyway, long story short, I've finally been referred to ortho for a hip replacement 🥳
I've been told today that I could apply for PIP. Does anyone know if this is likely? I've had a bit of a google, and I'm happy to call them, but is it worth it, or are they likely to just discount me?
Things are going to have to start being adjusted a bit in the house - I'm starting to really struggle to get in and out of the bath, for example - and we don't have a separate shower either! I walk with a stick and I wake up most nights with the pain.
Just wondering if anyone has had experience of this.
