Switching from mirtazapine to sertraline and weight loss experiences

I have been on Mirtazapine now for coming up to 3 years. It’s been great for my sleep but hasn’t helped the anxiety so much recently. Due to the weight gain I’ve thought about trying something else and the doctor recommended sertraline. Anyone done the switch, if so how was it?

alternatively has anyone managed to lose weight on Mirtazipine? I’ve been looking at the new Mounjaro pills. Ive tried calorie counting, fasting, Berberine and even Orlasist but I cannot lose a single bloody pound.

I’ve been on Sertraline for 15 yrs. Put on a teeny bit of weight but that is because I was no longer literally being eaten away by anxiety. I excercise daily for mainly mental health reasons, so maybe if I didn’t do that, I might have put more weight on. I only take 25 mg on Tue Thu and 50mg on Mo Wed Fri. My GP supports this way of taking them - and it works for me. Good luck!
