Need rid of this cold sore before Thursday-any remedies?

Got a long awaited for dentist appointment on Thursday- been waiting months- they won’t treat me with a cold sore😩it’s just starting to scab over but it’s quite big and on my top lip /septum- need it gone by then - anyone got any miracle remedies to speed up the healing🤞

No miracle for this one (the patches might keep the environment favourable for healing though). But get onto your GP and ask for oral aciclovir - it won’t do much for this one, but if you keep some in stock you can start it as soon as you feel the next starting and it should massively help either avoid it developing or shorten the whole thing.

My dentist has always seen me if it is at the scab stage. Lysine may help
