has anybody had a cyst sac removed before? If so, please could you share post op experience.
I had a cyst sac removed on 24/06/26. It was located in my groin/left bikini line. The cyst was naked to the eye wasn’t swollen just a red, flat mark on the skin although it had been swollen in the past. I am not sure was type of cyst it is as yet, as awaiting a biopsy on it.
I opted to have the sac removed. The sac was less than a pea size, although the incision/stitches are approximately 3cm’s.
Above the stitches, a new skin coloured lump which is visible to the eye has developed. Being 5 days post op - is this normal? Has anybody else had this experience? If so, did it go down?
