Does this sound like costochondritis?
for a while iv had a dull pain beneath left breast and sometimes I get a sharp stabbing pain that shoots round to my side and takes my breath away. The very bottom of my sternum is sore when pressed and it feels almost like someone is hugging it if that makes sense! My chest felt squeezed for a few days especially when bending down. Not to mention it feels like I’m having palpitations at times.
my right bottom rib also feels tender when pressed and there are times it feels like it’s in my back .
sometimes I swear the pains are beneath my breasts as well, shoulders have also been a bit sore.
so far iv had an abdominal ultrasound which was fine as I do suffer with IBS.
I went to GP who checked my lungs and they were clear and blood pressure fine so I’m now just at a loss as to what is going on. I suffer pretty bad with health anxiety so this is making things so much worst . Anyone had these symptoms ?
