Failed Hearing tests?

My little girl is 5 years old, i don't think there is a problem with her hearing, the teachers have not mentioned any problems with her listening in class, she failed her last 2 hearing tests at the school, & has now been refered to the hospital for even more tests!

She does suffer from ear infections when she is coming down from something, & she has Hayfever so is always bunged up which could cause her hearing to be slightly out.

I have no confidence in 'Health profesionals' & my little girl dosen't like doctors or hospitals, so i don't want her being prodded around un-necessarily. If i thought there was a problem i would be grateful of their 'Help', but i am not happy about this at all.

I have heard of Glue ear & Grommits, but my sister has said they don't fit them anymore, as there have been complications with them, can anyone let me know if they still fit these things.

Sorry to sound Irate, i'm just a worried mum, whos worried about my little girl getting stressed when it is not necesary.
