Colonoscopy timings- help!

I’m going in for a colonoscopy next week and have a morning appointment at 9am. Instructions say take first dose (Plenvu) at 6pm and second dose at 5am on the morning if the appointment. I’m just worried that it’s too late as I’ll be travelling to the hospital at 7.45am!

Previous colonoscopies (with Moviprep) have advised first dose at 4pm and second dose at 8pm.

Does anyone know if it would it be ok to do these timings with Plenvu? I can’t get through to the hospital to ask!

it would be a good idea to keep trying the hospital so they can advise you what to do. does the specialists secretary have an email?

I usually start fasting and take my doses about 2 hours earlier than the time stated. It means less sleep but there's less anxiety of needing the loo on the way to hospital. My hospital also over an hour away.

I also follow the low fibre diet from at least two days earlier than recommended. It makes the prep so much easier.

I followed those timings and it all worked fine.
