10 year old DD has this on her lips. Does this look like cracked skin or a cold sore? No history of cold sores!

Maybe Angular Chelitis. I've had this recently. GP prescribed a cream for bacteria and one for yeast and it went very quickly.

Angular cheilitis is an inflammatory condition causing red, cracked, and painful sores at the corners of the mouth. It occurs when saliva becomes trapped in the mouth folds, leading to dry, irritated skin that gets infected by fungi (like Candida) or bacteria (like Staphylococcus aureus).

Doesn’t look much like a cold sore. They usually start off as a small spot or blister that can be sore/tingly/itchy and usually get bigger before they dry out and heal up.
