Has anyone been on Hiprex for chronic UTI’s I’ve been suffering them for years and now had scans later down the line. They want to start me in these. I have two concerns about this -

  1. also have bad gastric problems, I’m told I’ll need to take vitamin c pills either this to make it work. How will this affect heartburn
  2. m also on Tegretol Prolongued release having seizures controlled for over 30 years. Could this be affected?

Hiprex can be prescribed with Tegretol, as presumably you have been, but you will need regular kidney function tests.
