USS KUB and Pelvis + PVR

Been referred for this ultrasound. Anyone know what it involves.

KUB is Kidneys, Ureters, and Bladder. They’ll get you to drink a certain amount of fluid. They might get you to wee part way through and then see if you completely empty your bladder or not, this is the PVR Post Void Residual.
Pelvis will just be looking at the other organs like gallbladder or appendix.

Drinking the water is going to be so difficult as the whole reason I am going is that bladder can’t seem to hold fluid.
