Please don’t add pictures of your bum! No one wants to see that. Contact your GP if you’re worried.

You can’t actually see my bum

This is your health anxiety spiralling again.

OriginalSkang · 09/06/2026 18:08

Just show a doctor, no one here can diagnose anything

Pollqueen · 09/06/2026 18:17

How on earth do you expect a load of randoms to diagnose a spot on your bum from a photo! If you're concerned, see your GP as asking for advice on here is beyond ridiculous 🙄

Don’t look, then!

LadyLooo · 09/06/2026 18:19

The doctor said it was a boil.

If you disagree, go back and see them again.

Why do you think Mumsnet is a better choice than a qualified GP?

drunkelephant83 · 09/06/2026 18:20

Looks like the end of the boil/ingrown hair.

plims · 09/06/2026 18:24

You should have said in your title that the photos were of your bottom. I really don’t want to see it and wouldn’t have clicked on the thread if I’d have known.

Staceys128 · 09/06/2026 18:27

I’m sorry if I’ve upset anyone

You have upset only the permanently offended, that’s very easily done.

Does your doctors surgery use the NHS app and allow you to upload photos? My surgery would look at those images and decide if you need an inperson appointment or cream/mecicine.

plims · 09/06/2026 18:32

I’m not upset. It would just have been nice to know before clicking on it.

I have health anxiety and I think you do too based on your other threads. I mean this kindly, but you are in panic mode and you are spiralling.

Pollqueen · 09/06/2026 18:47

You've not upset me, but you obviously have some sort of health anxiety so coming onto the Internet to expect non medically qualified people to diagnose something that is bothering you is not sensible. If it is still bothering you, please go back to your GP
