Eczema on feet

Foot to be precise as I only have it on one foot
It improves in winter as I am wearing socks but sandals are a nightmare
I had allergy testing but I don't believe its a true allergy as I only get the eczema on one foot. I also have fallen arches so am finding suitable sandals impossible. Anything with memory foam soles (like skechers) sets it off immediately
I have Keen sandals which are not too bad but I do get patches once my feet get hot
Anyone else? If so I would love to know what helped
My GP suggested socks with sandals as the perfect combination 😅

Strange for eczema to get worse when aired out. Usually sweat sets it off and sunshine reduces. Have you used a steroid ointment?

Is it eczema or athletes foot ? Have you ever tried treating it as such . Perhaps Lamisil Once would help and it's an anti fungal so can't hurt .

I will try anything but I'm pretty sure its eczema, the bubbly type. I get the itchy little blisters
I have steroid cream. I did get it badly in between 2 toes for a while a couple of years ago. I sorted it by giving up the steroid cream and using moo goo eczema cream
This isn't constant though. I just get patches on one foot after being out in sandals for a few hours. I wore sandals and walked around for several hours yesterday and got the bubbly, itchy blisters on the sole of my foot

I get the bubbly type in summer too. Drives me mad! I’ll be honest, I’ve tried wearing sandals, not wearing sandals. Nothing seems to help other than popping the bubbles and steroid cream. Sorry I can’t be more useful but there is something about getting hot feet that sets it off.
