Periods suddenly chaotic

Has anyone had issues with periods suddenly going chaotic?

For context, I have severe anxiety, which definitely isn’t helping the situation

Cycles always very regular, between 23-25 days, with 5-7 days of moderate bleeding (heavy first 2-3 then tapering off)

This year it appears to have all gone south…

January - normal period
February - missed period
March - extremely light period
April - slightly late, period, initially stop start for around 1 week before settling into normal, slightly heavier bleed for a week (had GP appointment at this stage and decided to see what next few cycles were like)
May - slightly late, but expected due to length of Aprils bleed, day 1, small gush of blood, day 2-4 extremely light (barely there, only on wiping), day 5, light bleed, day 6, very light, day 7 very light apart from a flooding situation with decent sized clot which happened over the space of an hour, and has been extremely light since, now day 13 and (hopefully) seems to be tapering, very light dark brown spotting now.

no weird smells, no chance of pregnancy. I am 34 years old, overweight (this feels important), 2 children and have also had 2 miscarriages.

Up to date with smears, last one was 3 months ago all fine, mentioned to nurse about bad health anxiety then also she had a good look and said all looks good too.

Have ordered a full thyroid panel from randox that I’m waiting to be delivered, as I’ve read that GP’s dont always test what they need to on that front.

Also just done another online form for GP so waiting to hear back from that, but I am really really anxious about this, has anyone had similar?

Your GP will hopefully refer you for an ultrasound. It may be polyps or thickening of the womb lining.

Have a gp appointment but it’s a good 18 days away. The super light bleeding seems to have turned into a proper period now
