Looking to see if anyone else has a cold at the moment?

Mine started on Friday evening with a sore throat. Now I can’t stop coughing!

Colds are awful at any time but its 30 degrees outside!

yea same. Sore swollen throat, ache all over, now tickly annoying cough and runny nose. Last thing I need in this heat. I have today lost my sense of smell so I’m suspecting Covid.

Oh, I hope its not covid 💐

I was planning on a few days off but not like this! 😩

I had one end of last week and now my 12 week old has it. She was coughing all night 😭

Yes!!! Woke up coughing at the weekend. Keep feeling woozy. Not especially snotty though.

I did wonder about Covid, the cough was very similar. I've basically spent the heatwave having a long nap!

Bunged up, sore throat, runny nose, lost my sense of taste. 37 weeks pregnant, and in 30+ degree heat...what a joy.

I’m on day 10. Started with a sore throat which has cleared up but stuck with the cough and bunged up nose! Wondering if it will ever pass I just want to sleep, I’m also weeks pregnant so feeling soooo miserable

I've got a cold this week and it has wiped me out. Drained the energy out of my face, I'm achy and want to eat a lot, as well as the usual sore throat, sneezing fits, cough (but not too bad) and some dulling of my taste buds (but not altogether). Have also been a bit weepy

Wondered if it might be hay-fever but my usual hay-fever window ended a couple of weeks ago, and anyway I haven't got the itchy eyes and non stop dripping nose. It's a virusy cold thing and I'm fed up!

Anyone had a cough that’s lingered for weeks ?
We had upper respiratory cold in March and both still coughing .

Yep, started yesterday and woke up in the night feeling really crap, throat like sandpaper, stuffy head, banging headache 😫 feels ridiculous to be shivery and ill in this weather!

This was me last Friday. I have slowly felt better as the week has gone on but the cough has limited my sleep which makes me feel worse.

All in the hottest week of the year 🙄

Eight days in. Swollen glands, runny nose, sneezes. Now just bunged up nose that takes some blowing to clear. First real cold in about eight years.

Yep, my whole family. Waiting for it to get me too.

Yes I thought it was just fever. I don't feel particular ill just tired from waking up coughing but my only symptom is a sore throat and coughing it's weird

Yes, sore throat started Thursday morning, now sneezing and coughing in turn, feel crap, sore joints too. I was travelling for work the week before, got stranded at a very busy airport, came back on Sunday. I thought I had picked it up while travelling.

Dh has. He has asthma and had to go and get antibiotics and steroids his cough has been so bad and lasted weeks.

Get well soon everyone. Hot herbal teas with honey can help soothe. Sage tea seems to help a lot for some reason? I think it's anti-inflammatory?

Yep we felt the ‘thing’ we had end of March was covid . Just the way it presented but we’re still coughing !
Not so much at night but day time also wondering re pollen or something irritating us .
So annoying .

Yep, right off the back of a vomiting bug that all 3 kids caught 😭 Cold started with a very sore throat and has developed into a cough that’s keeping me up at night. Thankfully it’s starting to go at last (had it for a week).
