What’s wrong with my foot?!?

I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I’ve had it for a while and ok just used to it sadly!

However, over the past few weeks, the same foot has got worse. Sometimes when I’m at home, it feels like there’s a small bubble on the top middle bit (so between my toes and heel). It’s not painful but I can feel it. And now, when I feel it, there’s a strain near my knee too? What’s going on?!?

Female 37. Quite active.

If I were you I'd go to a podiatrist who does bio-mechanics. Will cost you, but they will know how to help.

The NHS is what is wrong with your foot. In a first world country with the amount of taxes we are paying, you should be able to walk in, opening the door with your healthy foot, into an ortho clinic and get your diagnosis on the spot, from a consultant.

Jokes aside, please make an appointment, my dh waited for 5 months, then spent £250 on a private appointment.

What will a private appointment actually do though? An x-ray?

Who diagnosed the PF? Worth visiting a podiatrist to assess your foot. It may be that while you are compensating for one problem you have triggered another.

A physio will sort you out in my experience, also some inserts for your shoes,£12 from Amazon ones were better than ones I had made by a podiatrist for £200.

Physio is usually about £40 depending where you live and I only needed 2 sessions.

Metatarsalgia. I have it due to having a bunion.
