Blurred vision from an eye scratch or ulcer, when might it improve?

Has anyone ever experience a scratch to their eye or an ulcer causing blurred vision?

I currently have both and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on when this will improve!

I have a MECS checkup soon

Is it a scratch or an ucler?

I’ve had an ulcer. It took a few weeks of antibiotics to fully recover.

I’ve not had a scratched eyeball though.

If it is an ulcer you need to get seen promptly. I know someone who went blind in one eye due to a corneal ulcer.

Yes i had both a small child and a toy dinosaur caused mine. A trip to eye A&E and they burst the ulcer i think. then antibiotic eye drops a week or so maybe?? Can’t remember but get well soon. x

I should see an eye specialist ASAP.

Thanks for the replies

It's large scratch but then I found out the next day I also have an ulcer

I have been to hospital and been taking antibiotics for it . I'll be finishing the course tomorrow but vision is still really blurry

I’d go back to whoever gave you the antibiotics. When I had an ulcer my vision was pretty much back to normal by the time I’d finished the course, so it might be that you need a bit longer.
