Migraine or something else?!

I suffer from vestibular migraines (diagnosed by consultant). Generally I don't get the terrible headache, but get an aura (vision disturbance) and some balance issues.

Yesterday I had a weird experience. I started with the aura, so took painkillers and laid down for a bit, which generally works. I still had a bit of a headache but got back to work. I suddenly started to feel very odd - my palms of my hands and feet were itching like mad, heart was pounding, felt lightheaded and then vomited violently. Spent a few mins sat on the bathroom floor as was so dizzy and lightheaded. I then went to lie down and had a terrible lower stomach ache and the shivers. Couple of hours later it had all passed and I just feel wiped out.

Is the above all just part of a bad migraine?! I know vomiting etc can all be symptoms but the 'funny turn' that came with it was scary!

I have had those symptoms with migraine. Dizziness, stomach issues, high histamine/itchy skin etc

People think migraine is "just a bad headache" or flashing visual disturbances.

One time I collapsed, lost consciousness and was taken to hospital with suspected stroke and it was a migraine.

Migraines are horrendous.

Edited to say if it happens again see your GP or consultant.

I usually throw up if I have a migraine, sometimes multiple times. Best wishes OP, it's horrid.
