Hospital food

Has anyone ever tried to tackle the quality of hospital food (Jamie Oliver style)? It doesn’t need to be perfect but my goodness it’s diabolical. How do they expect patients who are attempting to recover to do well on the crap they’re fed?

In Dublin and been in a bit over the last five to ten years. Food is absolutely appalling here, and that is me being polite!!

It’s very nice in the Mater Public hospital.

@CococrunchI opted out and got something from the M&S food onsite. But that’s because I’m lucky enough to be able to hobble down the hospital corridor (can afford it as am only here short-term and am sufficiently mobile). Options on the menu sound ok but the reality is quite different - joyless limp sludge that tastes foul and is actively bad for you. I’m actually motivated to do something about this when I get out just not sure where to start.
