Hi I have an underactive thyroid.
My latest numbers are tsh 0.25 and t4 20.
Do these levels seem okay.
I have been getting some wierd sensations at night and I am wondering if my thyroid has become overstimulated.

AFAIK, 0.25 is the very edge of what is considered normal. I think it should be between 0 and 5 so it's on the brink of being overstimulated. I can't remember the normal range of T4.

What dose are you on?

I have ranges from 2 london hospitals

TSH 0.40-5.00
T4 11.0-23.0

TSH 0.27-4.2
T4 12.0-22.0

What does your GP say?

My gp told me that these numbers are normal.
I did notice the lab results on the screeen stating normal range has been 0.25 to 5.

However these bloods were done a week before I got the results and I am wondering if my thyroid has possibly gone overstimulated since these were done.
It has now been about 3 weeks since those bloods were taken that this result is based on, and the weird sensations have gradually got worse and are happening every night.

I have been back to my doctor and they are going to check my thyroid again and also check numerous otther things such as blood count etc.
