Hello! Yes, I had one a few months ago. It was very quick and not at all uncomfortable during the procedure as they used numbing gel. A little bit uncomfortable afterwards, but it passed quickly. The worst thing was the lack of dignity, but the staff look at people’s genitals and urethras all day and were very kind and professional. I had a look at the screen and got to see each of my ureters in turn emptying into my bladder, which was interesting. Best of luck, and please try not to worry, as it won’t be anywhere near as bad as you imagine. Be thankful you’re not a man, as it is very much more uncomfortable for them going all the way up the willy 😁

I have a low pain threshold so everything scares me😂

Please don't worry. I got myself in a state.when I went in they checked urine and bp anbother I had a shot of antibiotics in my bum which stung but was fine. The camera going in felt slightly like when you have a sharp wee with a uti but then nothing and was totally painless. Done in 10 mins. First wee after stung like a uti but seeing as I was there for constant utis it didn't bother me.

Totally totally fine I suffer severe white coat syndrome and almost cancelled.

Maybe take some paracetamol and ibuprofen beforehand if you have a low pain tolerance. I hope it goes well for you 💐
