I had pneumonia back in December 2026, I've not felt right since then, tired always waking up feeling as though I have a bad cold, hands and feet always freezing.
I have had two lots of bloods done both have come back, with my white blood cells being 3.2 and 3.8, which is slightly under normal. I have another test in two weeks, what can I do to boost my white bloods cells?

It's only very slightly low because of the illness you had fairly recently. Just eat plenty of protein and try and have a healthy balanced diet with minimal upf. It'll come back up a bit once you're fully recovered I'm sure. Pneumonia can really take it out of you for quite a long time.

Low white blood cells can happen after pneumonia and may take time to recover. Try to focus on sleep, good nutrition and hydration, and keep following up with your GP since you’re still feeling unwell.
