I’ve been having a weird pain behind my kneecap for a few weeks now. Started a a bubble/popping feeling and now is a sharp pain and stiffness although not all the time. I can still sleep. Seems to move from side to side. I must be now walking a little funny as I sometimes get an achy calf or thigh.
Anyone had similar? I sit worth a trip to the doc’s?
pain not so bad that I feel I need painkiller and once I’m walking around it’s quite manageable!

A pop usually indicates a torn ACL which requires surgery depending on the severity so yes worth going to minor injuries, they can x-ray and see if there is internal fluid (knee effusion) which is a marker for ligament damage.
