High pulse rate

Hi I’ve had a persistent cough for 4/5 weeks now no flu symptoms just an annoying productive cough .felt unwell earlier breathless woosy checked my pulse it was 130 bpm rechecked 10 minutes later it was 54 bpm cause for concern ?

Checked it how? If via a watch they are often not accurate. If you took it yourself with your fingers or a sats probe and it's varying that much then make an appointment at your gp with a nurse practitioner, they'll do an ecg see if it is that variable. Tbh if you've had a persistent cough for 5 weeks it is best to get checked out anyway.
