Blister after dentist

Had a filling this morning and the dental nurse caught the suction tube on my inner lip, then yanked it off!
I have developed a very painful throbbing blister which seems to be getting bigger by the hour.
Any tips on getting it to reduce quickly?

bumping for you as that looks sore.

i’d email the dentist the photo and ask. they need to know what they have done. i’ve had soreness at the corners of my mouth but never anything that bad.

perhaps some dentists or dental nurses can advice if this is ‘normal’ or not.

Thanks...I called and the receptionist said it's unfortunate, but happens.....
Try bonjela🤣
Yes it is sore, and seems to have puffed up even more this morning

My dentist cut the side of the mouth with a scalpel!!

I too was going to suggest bonjela. Mucous membranes (inside lips/mouth) do tend to heal quickly.

The hardest part is stopping your tongue constantly licking over it. If its anything like my tongue, when there is a cut/ulcer etc it makes a beeline for it every time! Try to avoid salty and sour things which can sting it too. Using a straw can help with drinks.
