(Possibly TMI). Bleed after sex

At the weekend, DH and I had very very deep sex. He went a bit deep and I told him to stop which he did. After I then bled and then spotted until the next morning.
tried to get a GP appointment for today but they were full by 8.01!
I also have health anxiety and need to deal with the possibility that I may not be seen until later in the week.
I have fully spiralled into panic!

I would be surprised if the gp thought it was anything of concern. It’s not unexplained and needing investigation you know the cause. Many women have bleeding after normal even shallow sex as a symptom for years and drs won’t take it seriously. Not that that makes it ok.

if you are not in lots of pain then I’d give it a couple days before seeking medical advice. If you are having pain or bleeding after normal sex then yes seek medical advice

When was your last smear test?

Chances are it's nothing or something fairly harmless, but it's definitely worth getting checked out.

Last smear was two years ago. I have an appointment now for Thursday and will now panic until then 😢

This has happened to me plenty of times if penetration is too deep. Don't panic!

This happened to me once also - due to a position with a new man. Bleeding had stopped by the next morning and it wasn't painful. I avoided sex for a little while and didn't need any treatment at all.

I wish I could stop the spiral of panic!
