Flucloxacillin side effects

Anyone had these? I’m on them and feel like utter shit
upset stomach, headache, wiped out/fatigue

it is the 4th course of antibiotics I’ve had this month but these are grim!

Yeah they are not great the symptoms are harsh plenty of rest and I take a pro biotic drink with them, hopefully whatever infection you have clears up .

The instructions usually say to take on an empty stomach. That leaves me feeling really sick so I take it with food. Doesn’t need to be much just a couple of biscuits/crackers would do.

Also if you have had a lot of antibiotics recently then it might be worth trying to recover your gut bacteria. You could try the yoghurt drinks such as actimel or some fermented food such as Kimchi.

yeah I have some probiotics on the way. They’re the only antibiotics I’ve considered stopping taking as they’re making me feel awful

Ime they really work i know you feel horrible but stick with them.

I spoke to the GP this morning as I’m aching all over and it said to ring on the website/packet
they’ve said it sounds like I’m coming down with something else
