Irregular periods

Hi , my dd has just turned 20 and her periods have always been a bit irregular or late but this month she’s come on 2 weeks after her last period
Any advice ? Im thinking it’s a one off it could be stress but on the other side it could be anything hormonal . I’ve advised her to monitor it and if the same thing happens again to see the Dr
Has anyone else had this happen ?

My cycle has always been anywhere between 11 and 57 days. I also had extremely painful and heavy periods. The pill can regulate it but if not she may be told it’s normal.

I’m just wondering if she should have a check up for Endometriosis

Irregular periods at her age are quite common, and a one-off early cycle can happen due to stress or hormonal changes.
If it doesn’t repeat, it’s usually nothing to worry about.
