Ichthopaste for adult eczema / lichen simplex chronicus

I have some sort of eczema or lichen simplex chronicus. The latter was what a dermatologist i saw recently termed it, while previously I have been told I had eczema most of my life (I am now 46 years old). I have itchy hard patches on my calves, arms, back.

The usual steroid creams dont work very well. What has worked previously are ichtopaste and viscopaste bandages - they hugely help the patches on my legs. However they are a real pain to wrap and stain bed clothes.

Has anyone been able to hack their use, especially for tricky areas such as back / thighs, so they are easy to apply? Or figured out where one can buy the actual ointment in these bandages? Thank you.
