Home Remedy for Tonsilitis

Help! I have tonsilitis (again) and I'm going on holiday on Monday.

Will try to see dr today but in the meantime has anyone got any home remedies?

Can't believe I could be on ABs on holiday!

If you have tonsills you can get tonsilitus at any age.
If you are caught without acces to gp again you could try gargelling with a solution of 10ml cider vinegar & 1/2 glass warm water.
not very nice but seems to work.

thanks sue, the ABs are starting to work now.

yesterday was pretty awful and i felt horribly spaced out and sick.

throat looks better this morning and i feel a bit more clear headed. mind you, had a terrible night so maybe have sweated out the fever too.
